Our customer, a Midlands business man, asked us to build him a trailer to carry his Merecedes B class car
behind his large motorhome. The idea was that he would be able to keep the car clean and safe on long journeys
all over the Continent.
Why the windows, door and hatches?
The hatches are there so that our customer, no longer in the first flush of youth, could strap his car down , ready for
the off, without clambering about inside the trailer on his hands and knees.
The windows were installed so that his grand children would have somewhere dry and warm to sleep when they visitied him on his travels in Malaga or Biarritz and door is not just to let the youngsters in. With the door open our customer has room to drive his car into the trailer and open the car door wide when he is inposition and then get in and out of the car easily instead of having to squeeze through a narrow gap and possibly scratch pantwork.
