The motorway network at Ferrybridge

From the north.

Presuming you are on the A1, heading south.

Join the M62 eastbound at Ferrybridge, following the signs for Hull.

After around 400 yards on the M62 take exit 33 for Granada Services and the A162, Ferrybridge.

Take the first exit from junction 33 roundabout, signposted A162 Ferrybridge (until Christmas 2005, this was the A1).

From the south

On the A1, this time heading north.

After passing through Darrington look for sign saying “Hull M62 east, Services and non-motorway traffic”.

Take this exit to join the A162, which, until Christmas 2005, was the A1 dual carriageway.

From the west

Leave the M62 at junction 33.

Take the first exit from junction 33 roundabout, signposted A162 Ferrybridge (until Christmas 2005, this was the A1).

From the east

Leave the M62 at junction 33.

Take the fourth exit from junction 33 roundabout, signposted A162 Ferrybridge (until Christmas 2005, this was the A1).

ALL DIRECTIONS: THE FINAL APPROACH

After joining the A162 at Granada services, head north for exactly 1.2miles until you reach the Ferrybridge B6136 exit.

Turn right at the tee-junction at the bottom of the sliproad, signposted A1 South.

This road will take you past our door in around 400 yards. Look out  for a small Total Oil depot on your left. Turn in at the gatehouse (on your left) immediately before Total Oil.

We are in the first unit at the bottom of the drive.
