Reversing Camera with the choice of mirror mounted or dash mounted screen
A perfect compliment to any motorhome is a professionally installed,
high quality reversing camera. The twin lens option (2nd row of pics) gives you
the best of both worlds, allowing you to choose between a close-in reversing
view, for prams and bollards, or a general rear view so you always know what's
coming up behind you.
Camera: High resolution, night vision camera with in-built sunshield.
18 inbuilt LEDs allow for continued operation right down to 0.1 LUX
(near total darkness). A built in microphone even allows audio from the
rear of the vehicle to be heard inside the cabin – an excellent feature,
ideal for manoeuvring on busy camp sites. The camera is supplied with
20 metres of cabling, allowing installation into even the largest of vehicles.
Screen: Full colour 1800 x 480 resolution LCD screen with built in speaker.
This screen is incredibly easy to mount over an existing mirror
without the use of any form of adhesive.
Simple spring loaded grips attach around the standard mirror providing a
solid yet removable mount for the monitor. Thanks to these convenient
mounts, and the unit’s universal 8-pin connection, removal of the screen
from the vehicle for security purposes and then reinstallation is easy –
taking mere seconds.
Or you can specify a dash mounted screen which unclips instantly to slip into
your pocket at times of greatest risk such as motorway service stations.
Take it with you, keep it safe.
The system can be set up so that it comes into life every time you select
reverse or an override switch can be wired in so that you can choose to
have the screen on all the time, acting as a perfectly legal rear view mirror.
In the picture (top right), you can see the bike rack mounted on the back of
the motor home and the white lines marking out the bays in our car park.
Imagine what that could save you in body panel repairs!
SOLAR POWER.
Once the stuff of science fiction, solar power is now a boundless source of "free" energy for motorhomers. Often, your motorhome can be parked up for weeks between outings with batteries gradually losing the will to start your engine. Even on holiday, your motorhome may not move for days, particularly if you have taken along an a-frame car for exploring and shopping. Lights, TVs, water pumps and the rest still want their power from somewhere and you can't always be plugged into the mains. We can supply and fit an 80 watt output solar panel for just £400 plus vat (£470) to put an end to all your flat battery worries. It's quick, effective and envirnomentally friendly. Just give us a call and we will plug you into the sun. |

PARKING SENSORS
Laserline EPS4006
This four ‘eye’ reverse parking sensor kit is ideal for any vehicle, from a small
car to the largest of motorhomes.
The sensors emit short pulses of ultrasound waves, which then rebound from
obstacles within their field of view. The rebounded signals are then received
again by the sensors. The central control unit then evaluates the time delay of
the rebounded signals and interprets the distance of an obstacle.
Four 18mm diameter ultrasonic sensors are installed into the rear bumper.
Once reverse gear is selected the main control unit provides distance information
via a small speaker which is mounted inside the vehicle.
Initial tones confirm the selection of reverse gear, as the vehicle reverses
nearer to an obstacle the tones become more frequent and remain constant at
approximately 30cm (12”) from the obstacle.
Internal speaker volume is adjustable between high and low.
Diagnostic feature.
External sensors can be colour coded if required, without affecting the performance
of the system.
Programming features all the exclusion of tow-bars and rear steps whilst still offering
100% reliable reversing data.

Four 18mm diameter ultrasonic sensors are installed into the rear bumper.
Four short range 18mm diameter ultrasonic sensors are installed into the front bumper.
Rear sensors are controlled by selection of reverse gear.
Front sensors are activated automatically via the vehicle speed pulse circuit when the
vehicle is below 15Km per hour (depending of vehicle model).
An optional switch can be installed if manual operation is required or no speed pulse
circuit available on vehicle.
Two control units which process information for the front and rear sensors independently.
Single speaker which provides distance information to the driver via a series of tones.
As the vehicle approaches an obstacle, the tones become more frequent and remain
constant at approximately 25cm from an obstacle at the front of the vehicle and 30cm
from an obstacle at the rear.
External sensors can be colour coded if required without affecting the performance of
the system.
