This Swift came to us to have one of our bolt-on adaptor

plate scooter rack fitted to an existing towbar of someone

else's manufacture.

What we didn't know until it arrived was that the existing

towbar was an Al-Ko detachable unit, which, in its original

format, is completely unsuitable for carrying a scooter rack.

But Armitage engineers soon came up with the solution,

seen here, which not only made a firm mounting point for

the scooter rack adaoptor plate, but allows the Al-Ko

towball to be used when the scooter rack is dismounted.
