Kit AL.94STA

The dark grey componets are the original Al-Ko suspension and axle parts.

This is the layout you should find on motorhomes made on the Al-Ko standard

chassis. There is no internal step, just inside the door, just one floor level.

Another good indicator is that the suspension mounting plate on the side

of the chassis runner is much narrower at the top than at the bottom.

Chassis made between 1994 and 2003

Kit AL94.LOW

The dark grey components are the original Al-Ko suspension and axle parts.

This is the layout you should find on motorhomes made on the Al-Ko high

chassis. There will be a step inside the motorhome door to help you up to

the higher floor. Another good indicator is that the suspension mounting plate

on the side of the chassis runner is wide at the top and tapers towards the

bottom. Chassis made between 1994 and 2002.

Kit AL.02

The dark grey components are the original Al-Ko suspension and axle parts.

This is the layout you should find on motorhomes made on the Al-Ko chassis

between 2002 and 2006. Don't stick like glue to these dates. The main

indicator is that the bottom end of the shock absober is mounted to a

large, cast aluminium bracket.

Kit AL.07

The dark grey components are the original Al-Ko suspension and axle parts.

This is the layout you should find on motorhomes made on the Al-Ko chassis

from 2007 . Don't stick like glue to this date. The main indicator is that the bottom end of the shock absober is mounted to a small, welded steel bracket.

If the shocker is mounted to an aluminium bracket this should mean that your motorhome is one of a small number that are based on a special extra-wide chassis. This chassis needs a modified air assistance kit costing a further £77. To work out what chassis you have you will need a tape measure, paper and pencil.  Please now look at the bottom diagram.

Firstly, you need to measure the track of the rear axle. This is the distance between the centres of the rear tyres (measurement A). Then measure the overall width of the chassis (measurement B). Subtract answer B from answer A and if the answer is between 545 and 590mm then you have a standard chassis. If it's between 660mm and 720mm, you have the wider chassis and need the modified kit.
